Admins' rights in in Arabic Wikipedia can be removed in two ways:
Removal of admin rights with voting
- Opening a vote to desysop an admin according the the adminship voting policy
Removal of admin rights without voting
An admin may be desysoped without a vote when the following criteria apply:
- Six months have passed since the last admin related edits
- The admin to be desysoped should be notified on his talk page and using the email at least two weeks prior to rights removal
- After desysoping an admin, he can still keep the editor rights
- The admin rights may be returned to him on his request without a vote within three months of the removal
- If more than three months passed after removing the rights, a new vote is needed for restoring adminship.
