ويليام دوسن لورانس هو مهندس وسياسي كندي، ولد في 16 يوليو 1817 في المملكة المتحدة، وتوفي في 8 ديسمبر 1886 في كندا.[1][2][3]

There were larger wooden ships built before 1874, but they were no longer in operation. At the time, there was also a larger vessel from New York which is discounted as a sailing ship because it was converted from a steamer.
