قبيلة العمار : هي قبيلة بدوية من شعب البجا تسكن على الجانب الغربي من البحر الأحمر، من سواكن شمالاً باتجاه القصير، يحيط بهم قبائل العبابدة وبشارين وإلى الجنوب يسكن هادندوا (مجموعة البجا الفرعية الأخرى).[1][2]
تنقسم القبيلة إلى أربع عائلات كبيرة:[3]
- ولد جويلي
- ولد علياب
- ولد كرباب واجداب
- أمارار.
