When used with the "This is a redirect" (Redr) template:

Template {{Redirect category shell}} may be used to add up to seven أرابيكا:تصنيف التحويلات templates, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation page below.

When used by itself:

• To its plural form: هذه تحويلة من a singular noun إلى its plural form. Either {{R to plural}} or {{R to plural}} may be used to tag a singular-form redirect title.
  • Redirects of this sort exist for reader convenience in cases of singular–plural pairs. It is also be used for "false singulars", wherein the plural or plural-looking form is better attested in usage, such that the normal "أرابيكا:عناوين المقالات" Wikipedia naming convention is not followed. Examples:
    • Scissorمقص
    • Trouserبنطال
  • Use this rcat to tag qualified أرابيكا:مقالة redirects only; if qualified singular forms are found in other namespaces, use {{R from modification}} instead.
