English: A formation of an F-35C (left) and two F-35Bs fly over Eglin Air Force Base on a training mission.

Personnel from the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force were familiarising themselves with the F-35 processes and procedures both in the air and on the ground at the US Air Force Base.

The F-35B Lightning II will place the UK at the forefront of fighter technology, giving the Royal Air Force a true multi-role all weather, day and night capability, able to operate from well-established land bases, deployed locations or the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers.
