Updated artist depiction of original inscription. The original vessel did not have two figures with male genitalia, only one: "I called archaeologist Ze'ev Meshel, who excavated the site, and was able resolve the mystery. 'When the pottery vessels were discovered they were covered with soot. We knew that we had to [be careful] when cleaning them, [and couldn't] scrub or wash them. ... The bottom part of the smaller figure was covered with soot, but the artist assumed that if the bigger figur...
