لويس نيكسون (بالإنجليزية: Lewis Nixon) هو مهندس وضابط أمريكي، ولد في 7 أبريل 1861 في ليسبورغ في الولايات المتحدة، وتوفي في 23 سبتمبر 1940 في لونغ برانش في الولايات المتحدة.[1][2][3]

Metuchen — Shipbuilder. Born at Leesburg, Va., on April 7, 1861; son of Col. Lewis and Mary Jane (Turner) Nixon; married at Washington, D. C., in 1891, to Sally Lewis Wood, daughter of Col. Lafayette Bawyer Wood and Margaret Robertson Wood, of Inverness, Scotland. Children: Stanhope Wood, born in 1894, married to Doris Fletcher Ryer, in 1917. Grandson, Lewis Nixon, III, born Sept. 30, 1918. Lewis Nixon has made his name known all over the world by his ship-building activities. At his yards, the Crescent, in Elizabeth, he constructed 100 vessels in five years. The Holland, the first submarine of the United States' Navy, was built there; this was followed by the building of seven more submarines. .
