The HTML mark up produced by this template includes an hCalendar microformat, which makes the person's event details parsable by computers, either acting automatically to catalog articles across Wikipedia, or via a browser tool operated by a person, to (for example) add the subject to a calendar or diary application. For more information about the use of microformats on Wikipedia, please see the microformat project.
Date-of-birth will only be included in the microformat if {{تاريخ الميلاد}} and {{End-date}} are used in the infobox. Optionally, any display template, including {{Julian date}}, {{تاريخ الميلاد والعمر}}, {{الوفاة والعمر}} and {{Chinese calendar/year name}} etc. may be used as the second parameter for Birth-date and Death-date. As an alternative, {{تاريخ الميلاد}} or {{تاريخ الميلاد والعمر}} may be used in place of {{تاريخ الميلاد}}.
Location information (adr, street, locality, region, country, geo...) will be included in the microformat if {{placename}} is used in the infobox. For many infoboxes, the default behavior for place parameter is to emit the information as location metadata. This data is in less structured form and so is not of optimum quality.
