سوريا (بالسنسكريتية: सूर्य) أي النور الأعلى، وذلك بحسب المعتقد الهندوسي وهو إله شمسي رئيسي وابن كاسيابا وزوج أو ابن أديتي،[1] وعادة ما يشير للشمس في الهند ونيبال.[2][3][4][5][6]
