مستوطنة سميرينبرخ في جزيرة أمستردام في شمال غرب سفالبارد، نشأت مع الدنمارك وصائدي الحيتان الهولندية في 1619: واحدة من البؤر الاستيطانية بشمال أوروبا.[1]
