  • Div of editor window goes over the taskbar on Mozilla

(explorer seems to work fine)

Mozilla has lots of RTL bugs, unfortunately. If your window is big enough it should fit fine, though (tested Firebird 0.7 on Mac OS X)

  • LTR has problems with RTL brackets--recommend a RTL arabic alternative brackets for links Arabic

Anything in particular you can suggest?

  • You can't always click on a page or the history of it in recent changes if the edit summary is in English. It especially happens if the summary mixes English and Arabic.

First off, some of these problems may clean up if the interface text were in the right language and hence direction, so we could concentrate effort on the real problem areas. How's the translation coming? Also, you and the he.wikipedia.org folks may wish to compare notes, as I imagine most RTL issues will be shared with both scripts.

Your're right --but were not really talking so much about English texts as we are Latin-character (LTR) brackets in combination with Arabic.

We do need someone who really *writes in Arabic and knows all the useful tech though, to give us some real feedback. Ive been trying to find recruits. Will give you an update soon (by early next week) and make a little talk with the folks at .he.
