Roger C. Sullivan, for many years the leader of the Democratic Party in Illinois, died suddenly late this afternoon at his home, 342 Wellington Avenue, this city. Mr. Sullivan had been suffering for several weeks from an acute attack of bronchitis, but had been reported as making a satisfactory recovery.
